Terms of Use for Money Comes and Goes

Last updated: 2026-07-14

Welcome to Money Comes and Goes.

By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

App purpose

Money Comes and Goes is a local-first financial planning companion.

It helps you organize budgets, incomes, accounts, reminders, recurring items, and financial habits.

Money Comes and Goes is not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, banking advice, or legal advice.

The app is a planning tool only. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions.

User responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter in the app.

Please review your entries, budgets, plans, and reminders before relying on them.

The app can help you stay organized, but it cannot guarantee that every number, forecast, reminder, sync event, or result will always be perfect for your situation.

If something is especially important, you should double-check it.

Local-first use

You can use Money Comes and Goes without creating an account.

If you do, your financial planning data stays local on your device unless you later choose a Premium cloud feature.

If you stay in local-only mode, you are also responsible for your own device access, backups, and app-data safety.

Cloud sync and backup

Premium may include cloud sync, backup, restore, and similar account-based features.

These features are meant to make it easier to keep your planning data available across devices, but no sync system is perfect.

From time to time there may be delays, conflicts, failed sync attempts, restore issues, or temporary service problems.

You should review your data after syncing or restoring.

Family Sharing

Family Sharing, also called Family Together, is an optional Premium feature.

When Family Sharing is active, the owner’s dataset becomes the shared financial space used by invited members.

Invited members may see and modify shared financial data according to their role and the current app permissions.

Only join a family you trust.

Family Sharing and Family Separate have different visibility models. Family Sharing uses the owner-backed shared space, while Family Separate keeps personal money separate and limits shared responsibilities according to the separate-mode rules.

Family Sharing is for shared planning. It is not a public social feature and it is not meant for comparing wealth, income, or real-money status.

Family-owner access is part of the Family Sharing feature and remains active only while the family lifecycle allows it.

Family Shared automation execution is owner-only in the current release. Members may see read-only automation status where the product exposes it, but they do not execute shared automations.

If the owner leaves, deletes the account, or otherwise loses access to the shared cloud dataset, that can affect the Family Sharing space for invited members.

Premium subscription

Money Comes and Goes may offer one Premium subscription.

That subscription is meant to unlock the full Premium experience, including optional cloud features and future Premium additions.

There are no planned multiple subscription tiers.

If you buy Premium through Google Play, Google Play handles billing, renewals, cancellations, and purchase management under its own systems.

Deleting your Money Comes and Goes account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

If you want to stop renewal, you should manage the subscription in Google Play.

Notifications

Money Comes and Goes may use local reminders and notifications to support planning habits and recurring items.

You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

Support and service access

Limited operator or support access may occur when reasonably necessary for support, security, abuse prevention, debugging, service maintenance, or legal compliance.

That access is not the same as Family Sharing owner access and is not a normal product feature for browsing user finances.

Advertising

Money Comes and Goes does not show ads.

Account deletion and support

If you created an account, you can request account deletion inside the app when that option is available.

You can also request deletion by emailing:

moneycomesandgoes.app@gmail.com

Deleting an account is different from deleting local app data on your device.

If you used the app only in local-only mode, you can remove that data by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

A note about availability

We work hard to keep Money Comes and Goes useful and reliable, but we cannot promise that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every personal finance situation.

Please use it as a planning companion, not as a replacement for professional advice or your official financial records.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use if the app changes.

If we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top of these terms.
