Account Deletion for Money Comes and Goes

If you created a Money Comes and Goes account, you can request deletion in two ways.
Delete in the app
If the in-app option is available, go to:
Settings > Account > Delete account
Delete by email
You can also email your request to:
moneycomesandgoes.app@gmail.com
For security, please send the request from the same email address used for your Money Comes and Goes account, or include enough information for us to verify the account owner.
What deleting your account means
If your account is deleted, we will delete the account-linked cloud data connected to Money Comes and Goes, unless we must keep limited information for genuine security, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
This can include:
- Your Money Comes and Goes app account
- Account-linked cloud sync data
- Account-linked backup and restore data
- Family Sharing access linked to that account
Family Sharing note
If you are the owner of a Family Sharing space, deleting your account may also remove the shared cloud dataset used by invited members. That can end access for invited members as part of the current family lifecycle.
If you are an invited member, deleting your account ends your access to that shared space from your account. The family may remain active for the owner or other members, depending on the current product state.
If you leave a family or are removed from it, your access to that family space ends, but your personal account deletion settings remain separate from the family lifecycle.
Local-only data
If you used Money Comes and Goes without cloud features, your financial planning data may exist only on your device.
You can delete local-only data by clearing the app’s data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
Premium subscriptions
If you bought Premium through Google Play, deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel the subscription.
If you want to stop future charges, cancel the subscription in Google Play as well.
Timing
We aim to process deletion requests as quickly as reasonably possible.
